Pepper / Milagu – 1 Cup
Cumin Seeds / Jeera / Seeragam – 1 Cup
Curry Leaves / Karivepilai – a handful
Sea Salt / Crystal Salt / Kal uppu – as required
How to prepare milagu seeraga podi or pepper cumin powder at home
1. For the preparation of milagu seeraga podi at home, take cumin and pepper in a pan. Dry roast for few minutes until the nice aroma comes, transfers to a plate. Then add curry leaves, dry roast for few seconds and transfer to the plate. Make sure it should not get burnt. Let them cool for sometimes and then grind it to a fine powder along with required salt using a mixer jar.Store in an airtight container.
